Christmas card campaign has started again

For over 50 years, the SMA has held a Christmas fundraiser to raise money for the society's projects. This year, it will be held again. The SMA offers six types of Christmas cards, which those interested can order. The cards are offered free of charge, but in return, a donation of their own choosing is requested. These are double cards, which come with an envelope. The cards can be ordered individually or in sets. Larger quantities are also available.

One of this year's new cards depicts the Holy Family fleeing from Egypt against a backdrop of contemporary people on their journey: refugees? Pilgrims? Travelers? The card beautifully illustrates the contemporary relevance of the Christmas story. There are also some more classic Christmas cards and one depicting a nativity scene in the Limburg hills, with the SMA Mission House in Cadier en Keer in the background.

This year's Christmas card campaign proceeds will benefit the "Hope for Life" project in Ghana, which has been supported by the Dutch SMA for many decades. Founded by the SMA in 1986, the organization is committed to improving the living conditions of people with disabilities in Ghana. Life in Africa is not easy for people with physical disabilities. Often, adequate care is unavailable, and finding a job is not always easy.
